Five persons lost their lives and six others sustained injuries after their vehicle veered off the road on the Karsog - Shimla road in Mandi's Karsog sub-district on Friday. The deceased included four women and one male. The injured were rescued from the spot and taken to the nearest hospital in Sunni. The vehicle was traveling from Jasal in Mandi's Bhalindi area to Aslindi when the accident occurred. The villagers in the area immediately came to the rescue of the passengers. The vehicle was totally destroyed. Details about the deceased and injured are still awaited.
