Higher scopes of Kashmir valley on Thursday got new snowfall, remembering for a portion of the fields, as per Climate Division authorities.

Climate Division authorities said that separated from fields in south Kashmir, Pir Panjal mountain range saw new snowfall.

While south Kashmir regions got snowfall, Srinagar got downpour on Thursday.

As per authorities, the weather conditions influenced train administrations on the Banihal-Budgam course and a train working on the course was suspended. Different trains worked ordinarily on the track.

The J-K traffic police said on Thursday even as the Srinagar-Jammu thruway course is available to traffic, the Srinagar-Ladakh roadway has been closed because of new snowfall nearby.

A climate warning expressed that from January 17 to 19, the sky would be for the most part overcast and "light snow at disconnected higher compasses can't be precluded."

On January 20 and 21, the weather conditions will be by and large overcast with plausibility of light snow at secluded to dissipated places.

Again on January 22 and 23, the weather conditions will be by and large shady with probability of light to direct rain (fields of Jammu)/snow at dissipated to genuinely broad spots.

The Climate Office, in the mean time, said the night temperature in Srinagar on Wednesday night was recorded at less 2.5 degrees Celsius.

In north Kashmir's traveler objective Gulmarg, a base temperature of short 7 degrees Celsius was recorded.

South Kashmir's Pahalgam, one of the headquarters for the yearly Amarnath Yatra, enlisted short 4.2 degrees Celsius.
