Jammu, June 17, 2025: The Government has appointed two senior IAS officers as Nodal Officers for the Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025 in Jammu on June 17.
The Baltal axis of the yatra has been given to Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Secretary to the Government, Science, and Technology Department. Rahul Yadav, Managing Director of J&K Power Development Corporation Limited, will be in charge of the Pahalgam axis, per an order. The order stated that "Both officers will coordinate with all concerned agencies and report to the Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board on a regular basis."
