
Monday, July 7, 2025: Sat Sharma, president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu and Kashmir, called for further strengthening of the party's grassroots network to ensure that various government schemes reach the final mile. He urged all party functionaries to intensify their outreach activities at the booth and ward levels, engaging with the public directly and addressing local concerns effectively.Sharma was chairing an important organisational meeting at the party headquarters here to review the ongoing organisational activities and plan future programmes with a focus on enhancing party presence at the grassroots level across Jammu and Kashmir, the party said in a statement issued here. Prominent leaders present during the meeting included BJP General Secretary Adv Vibodh Gupta, DDC Chairperson Bharat Bhushan, former minister Priya Sethi, former Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria, Morcha General Secretary Reema Padha, and other senior party functionaries.In his address, the BJP leader highlighted the importance of organisational discipline and ground-level coordination. He reviewed the implementation of various ongoing BJP programmes in different districts and called for regular feedback from mandal and booth-level committees. He stated, "The BJP's success lies in its ability to connect with people at the village, panchayat, and urban ward levels through continuous and meaningful engagement." The meeting also discussed preparations for the upcoming party programs, such as public awareness campaigns and outreach initiatives focusing on youth, women, farmers, and marginalized communities. Special emphasis was laid on holding programmes that highlight the achievements of the Modi government and its impact on the lives of common people in Jammu and Kashmir.
