July 19, 2025: Two days after a patient's relatives assaulted a female doctor, the doctors at Government Medical College, Jammu, ended their strike.

Police booked a female relative of the patient, who allegedly died as a result of negligence, on Friday after the doctors went on strike, causing patients difficulties.

The assault victim was detained by the police on Friday, and the strike ended there.
