Katrina Kaif, Sunny Leone and Nargis Fakhri are all popular bollywood diva names, most people may not even know that these beautiful women aren’t Indian citizens. However, their nationality does not really matter, because when it comes to entertaining the Indian audiences with desi Jhatkas and matkas, these ladies are at par with their desi counterparts.
Indians might find it hard to believe that Smitha Patil Memorial Award winner Katrina Kaif was actually born Katrina Turquotte and that she is a British national. Although Kat’s dad was a British businessman of Kashmiri decent, he has had no influence on her since her parents divorced when she was very young.

Despite Katrina’s disastrous debut in Amitabh Bachchan and Padma Lakshmi starrer “Boom”, she has now become one of the most popular and sought-after heroines in India. Currently, she speaks Hindi like a pro and is a part of some of the highest grossing films in Bollywood.

Katrina last starred in “Baar Baar Dekho” opposite Sidharth Malhotra and will next be seen in ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor’s film “Jagga Jasoos”.

She joined the adult film industry at an early age and received immense fame, even leading to a vital appearance in the comedy film “The Virginity Hit” produced by Will Ferrell.
Her foray into Bollywood was through TV, starting with red carpet reporting for Video Music Awards, following which she participated in “Bigg Boss 5”. After debuting in Bollywood with the 2012 film “Jism 2”, she has been a staple in mainstream Hindi films and was last seen in the item number “Laila Main Laila” from Shah Rukh Khan’s “Raees”.
