Eight martial artists from Jammu and Kashmir have been selected to represent the country in the World Thai Martial Art Games in Thailand next month.

Technical Secretary of the J&K Jeet Kune Do Association Adnan Ayoub said the players had been selected to represent the country at the international tournament which would start from March 8 at Pattaya City in Thailand.

“The players were selected for Thailand after a good show in the Kune Do Federation Cup which was held in Chandigarh from January 31 to February 2. However, the government should sponsor their trip so that they can participate in the international event,” said Ayoub.
