A woman, pregnant with twins, who died of alleged medical negligence on Saturday at a hospital in Anantnag, tested positive on Sunday. She has become the seventh victim of coronavirus in J&K. A resident of Kharpora, Larnoo in Kokernag area of the district, the woman was rushed to the district Maternity and Child Care Hospital late Saturday afternoon after she developed some complication. She died a couple of hours later. Her family alleged that the doctors did not even touch her for a while because they came from a red zone, before she succumbed along with her twins. Her sample was taken after her death. Meanwhile, with amplified testing over the past two days, J&K is seeing a surge in cases, with 29 being reported today. Doctors conducted 1,124 tests today. The fresh cases have raised the UT’s infection tally to 523 cases with 7 deaths.
