Sources in the airlines further said that all the pilots are asymptomatic and based in Mumbai. "They had undertaken cargo flights to China," they said. According to the sources, the pilots tested positive during the pre-flight Covid test which is carried out 72 hours before they are restored for flight duties. The five pilots fly Boeing 787 planes, another source said. A senior airline official said that the five pilots had not operated any flight in the last three weeks.
