Senior IAS officer Manoj Kuram Diwedi proceeded on leave on Thursday. He cited personal reasons for the protest leave.
Diwedi was holding charge of Commissioner/Secretary to Govt. Industries & Commerce Department in Jammu and Kashmir.
However, it has been learned that the officer was irate over the use of abusive language against him by a senior official of the UT.
As per a government order, a 10-day earned leave has been accorded to Manoj Kumar Dwivedi from June 12 to June 21, 2020. Pawan Kotwal shall hold the additional charge of the Commissioner, Secretary, Industry and Commerce
