Freezing in Jammu breaks 12-year record; all flights canceled due to fog and poor visibility

The cold in the winter capital Jammu broke the record of the last 12 years amid the freezing bones. Jammu recorded a minimum temperature of 2.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday night, which has cooled after a decade. Earlier on December 31, 2007, Jammu recorded a minimum temperature of 2.3 and on December 27, 2014, 2.4 degree Celsius. The all-time minimum temperature in Jammu was recorded at 0.9 degree Celsius on 28 December 1998.
