More than 13.84 million (1,38,05,296) people have been reported to be infected by the Novel Coronavirus globally and 5,89,911 have died so far. Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.
Also, as many as 77,11,525 people have recovered from the infectious disease.

Meanwhile Brazil which is the 2nd worst hit country after the United States, crossed the 2 million mark in terms of cases on Thursday. As many as 76,000 people have died in the country so far.

The US, on the other hand, shattered its daily record for Coronavirus infections on Thursday, reporting more than 77,000 new cases as the number of deaths in a 24 hour period rose by nearly 1,000. More than 1,38,000 Americans have died from COVID-19 so far and a total of 35,76,157 are infected.
