Tribute to our saviours of 26/11

The 2008 Mumbai attacks (also referred to as 26/11) were a series of terrorist attacks that took place in November 2008, when 10 members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, an extremist Islamist organization based in Pakistan, carried out 12 coordinated shooting and bombing attacks lasting four days across Mumbai. The dreadful night of 26/11 has been etched in the memories of Mumbaikars. The attacks, which drew widespread global condemnation, began on Wednesday 26 November and lasted until Saturday 29 November 2008. At least 174 people died, including 9 attackers and more than 300 were wounded.

Floral tributes were paid to the martyrs who laid down their lives while fighting terrorists who attacked Mumbai on November 26, 2008. "Their sacrifice will never be erased from the memory of time and history.

Today, we all pay tribute to our saviours of 26/11 terror attack."
