The Delhi High Court on Tuesday asked concerned authority to look into the matter in larger public interest and deal with issue of maintaining law and order, on petition seeking to withdraw closure of Delhi's Kalindi Kunj-Shaheen Bagh stretch which was closed on Dec 15, 2019, for ongoing protests against Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA).

The Division Bench of Chief Justice DN Patel and Justice Hari Shankar has directed Delhi Police to look into the grievances raised in the plea in a time-bound manner and in accordance with law "in larger public interest".
