It has been decided to hand over the security of Jammu and Srinagar airports to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) after the arrest of DSP Davinder Singh posted at Srinagar Airport along with the terrorists. This process will be completed by 31 January. The state home department has sent an order to this effect to the DGP. Presently, the security of both the airports is in the hands of CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police.
