In response to complaints from residents about the lack of maintenance of the parks, the city corporation ordered that all large parks be cleaned six days and small ones twice a week.
In addition, boards containing the cleaning schedule will be erected in all 1,800 parks in the city. Telephone numbers of supervisors and junior engineers (JE) are indicated on the boards for making complaints.
Residents can complain about pollution or littering in parks to the appropriate person. MC started putting these boards in the parking lots today. All parks will receive these boards in the coming days.

The civic body will pay them Rs 4.15 per square meter per month under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the maintenance of neighborhood parks with a total area of ​​296.50 hectares. MC recently hired a company to collect and transport trash from the city's public parks. To ensure that there is no litter in the parks, the company has set up more than 3,700 double litter bins in parks across the city.
