Extreme cyclonic tempest Michaung that desolated pieces of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday has now debilitated into a downturn and moved northwards, said a Meteorological authority on Wednesday.

The climate framework is supposed to move northwards and further debilitate into a very much stamped low-pressure region in the following six hours, the authority said.

It moved at a speed of 11 km each hour in the beyond six hours until 5.30 am and lay focused over upper east Telangana, bordering south Chhattisgarh, south inside Odisha and seaside Andhra Pradesh, the authority said.

"The profound sadness (remainder of cyclonic tempest Michaung) over focal waterfront Andhra Pradesh moved almost northwards with a speed of 11 kmph during the beyond six hours, debilitated into a downturn and lay focused at 5.30 am on December 6 close to scope 17.4 degrees north and longitude 80.5 degrees east," Amaravati Meteorological Center head Stella Kiran told PTI.

The climate framework is around 50 km east to upper east of Khammam, 110 km north to upper east of Gannavaram and 250 km south of Jagdalpur.

Affected by the downturn, the Meteorological Division figure weighty precipitation, 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm, for the locale of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Alluri Sitarama Raju, Anakapalli, Kakinada, Konaseema and Eluru.

In the mean time, a few pieces of the state keep on being overcast.
