A 5.5 greatness quake struck the Association Domain of Ladakh on Monday, authorities said.

There were no quick reports of any setback or harm, they said.

As indicated by the Public Focus of Seismology (NCS), the quake happened at 3.48 pm and its focal point was Kargil.

The profundity of the quake was 10 km beneath the surface at a scope of 33.41 degrees and longitude of 76.70 degrees, it said.
