Post of Parliament's security head lies empty; Association home service welcomes names from states

With the post of Parliament House complex's security in-control lying empty for a month and a portion of, the Association home service has requested that states send names of qualified and willing IPS officials for topping off the post of joint secretary (security) in the Lok Sabha secretariat on nomination premise.

The names have been looked for by December 20.

In a letter shipped off boss secretaries of all states on December 14, the Association home service said, "The Lok Sabha Secretariat is currently topping off of post of Joint Secretary (Security) in Level 14 in the Compensation Framework in Lok Sabha Secretariat to be topped off on nomination premise among officials of Indian Police Administration empanelled to hold IG-level posts at the Middle. The state legislatures are, accordingly, mentioned to send designations of qualified and willing IPS officials to this service most recent by December 20."

The issue got featured after the security break episode in Parliament on December 13.

The post fell empty when the joint secretary (security) Raghubir Lal, a 1997 clump IPS official of Uttar Pradesh framework, got moved to his home state as ADG, the rule of law, on November 2.
