No less than 100 flights were postponed and a couple dropped because of low perceivability at the Indira Gandhi Worldwide Air terminal here on Friday.

Carriers have mentioned travelers to keep a mind the situation with trips on aircraft sites prior to leaving for the air terminal.

As per air terminal sources, perceivability on Friday tumbled to 150 meters, which is viewed as moderate for flight activities.

No less than 11 Delhi-bound trains have additionally been postponed.

"Trains showing up after the expected time in Delhi region are Mumbai CSMT-Amritsar Express, Farakka Express, Himachal Express, Brahmaputra Mail, MCTM Udhampur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla AC SF Express, Lucknow Mail, Danapur-Anand Vihar Terminal Jan Sadharan Express, Raxaul-Anand Vihar Terminal Sadbhavana Express, Jammu Mail, Padmavat Express and Kashi Vishwanath Express," Deepak Kumar, CPRO, Northern Railroads, said.

The satellite picture taken at 2.30 pm on Thursday showed a haze layer going on over Punjab, Haryana, north Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and northwest Madhya Pradesh.

In a post on X, the IMD cautioned of thick haze over Punjab and Haryana in the following four days.
