On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, with the goal of strengthening ties between the two countries. This came just a few days after Qatar released eight former members of the Indian Navy who had been sentenced to death after being arrested in August 2022.
Following the conclusion of a two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates, Modi made his way to Doha, the capital of Qatar, last night.
Soon after his appearance, Modi met Qatari State leader Sheik Mohammed container Abdulrahman Al Thani. Abdulrahman is Qatar's unfamiliar priest too.
