At Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) late Sunday evening, some unknown masked folks entered the university campus and beat up students protesting peacefully. In this attack, the president of JNU Students' Union Aishi suffered a serious head injury.

Apart from them, dozens of different students have also suffered serious injuries. Many professors conjointly suffered serious injuries in the attack. The attack was carried out at the time when the left-wing students gathered near the Sabarmati Dhaba and demonstrated on the problem of the fee increase. Left and right-wing student organizations have to suspect each other of the violence.

At the same time, political parties have also given a serious response to this matter. Congress President Rahul Gandhi has called it the students to suppress the voice of the scholars. Arvind Kejriwal has said that in this context he has spoken to LG and requested to immediately control the situation.

How the dispute started
Students of Jawaharlal Nehru University are opposing the administration for a long time on the matter of fee increase. For this, the scholars organized repeated protests on the streets and took out a protest against the central government.

Later, instead of protesting on the streets, the scholars adopted a strategy to protest in the university campus itself. Students have boycotted registration completely and that they aren't allowing new students to register likewise. Students have also staged sit-ins at different school gates.

Taking a break from this problem, the administration had the option of registering the registration process online and filling the form. However leftist students have also disrupted web service in the university campus due to which students aren't able to register.

Today was the last day of registration on Sunday. However as a result of the protest of the scholars, so far only 600 students are able to register themselves, whereas here more than eight thousand students get registered. Due to the last day of registration, the scholars of ABVP were trying to require the process forward by cooperating with the administration, whereas the scholars of Left were constantly opposing it.

This evening, the Left students had organized a protest at the Sabarmati Dhaba on these problems. Left-wing students allege that in the meantime, about fifty people from outside attacked them, causing serious injuries to the scholars. The professors weren't spared and that they were also attacked in the attacks.

NSUI shared some screenshots of a WhatsApp saying that ABVP has carried out these attacks on leftist students as part of the entire scheme. For this, the help of outsiders has been taken, the police have also supported the scholars of ABVP.

ABVP accused - Left students attacked
ABVP officer Ashutosh Singh has directly blamed leftist student organizations for these attacks. Ashutosh Singh said that the students of ABVP were cooperating in the admission method of the youngsters. Whereas to disrupt the registration method, the leftist students attacked the students called from outside.

He said that his officers Manish Jangir and Shivam Chaurasia suffered serious injuries in the attack of leftist students. Apart from these, about 24 students are injured. ABVP has called the conspiracy to attack the WhatsApp group a conspiracy and has investigated the incident and demanded action against the culprits.

Political charges intensified
The incident of attack on students and professors has taken a political turn in the process of Delhi Assembly elections. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has called it a conspiracy to suppress the voice of the students. At the same time, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has strongly criticized this incident.

He has tweeted that he has spoken to the lieutenant governor on this issue and has requested to control the situation. Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari termed the incident as a disappointing disappointment of the Left parties. They have demanded strict action against those responsible for the incident.
