J&K Bank yesterday gave a warm send off to one of its top ranking officerMohammad Maqbool Lone, who superannuated as the bank’sPresident after serving the premiere financial institution for more thanthree decades in differentcapacities.

The bank’s Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Rajesh Kumar Chhibber along with other Presidents, Vice Presidents and senior officers of the Bank bid adieu to the decorated officer as he embarked on a new journey.

The CMD hailed Mohammad Maqbool Lone for his immense contribution towards the institution and exemplary performance throughout his service career.
“Mr Lone has always been an upright and a principled man who has served this institution in the best way possible.

He has shown dedication and ingenuity throughout his career that helped the bank immensely. I wish him all the very best for a bright and healthy post-retirement life”, the CMD said.

Expressing gratitude and satisfaction, Mohammad Maqbool Lone hailed the members of J&K Bank family, whom he said, havean unmatched calibreand resilience. He thanked the entire workforce and the top management of the bankfor their support and encouragement over his entire career.

“I have cherished being associated with this great institution for almost 34 years andI shall continue to remain associated with it as a member of JK Bank family”, he said adding that he was taking so many wonderful friendships and fond memories of shared achievements along with him.

Notably, bringing a wealth of his experience to the post ofPresident, Mohammad Maqbool Lone was always considered as a prudent banker who proved his mettle in operations and controlling levels as he rose between the ranks to one of the top positions in the Bank.
