District Magistrate, Jammu, Sushma Chouhan ordered that no unauthorised activity shall be permitted at Gurah Bakshi Nagar area in wake of spread of coronavirus.

Sushma Chauhan, District Magistrate, Jammu, vide powers conferred upon her under Section 144 of CrPC read with relevant provisions under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 and the Disaster Management Act, 2005 ordered restrictions with immediate effect and till further orders.

She said that no unauthorized activity of any kind or un-regulated movement of any individual, for any reason whatsoever shall be permitted into and out of Gurah Bakshi Nagar area, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.

However, for any medical emergency, individuals can contact 24X7 control room at 0191-2571616, 0191-2571912 and necessary facilitation shall be done, she said.
