Jasmeet Kour Pandey quits PDP, joins BJP

Senior leader & PDP Mahila wing Vice-President Advocate Jasmeet Kour Pandey (Councillor, Jammu Cantonment) left PDP and joined BJP at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, party General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul and former Minister Priya Sethi welcomed the former PDP leader into the BJP.
Ravinder Raina, praised the former PDP leader for her decision to quit her old party, that the party has betrayed the trust of the people. He said that such parties never intend to serve the common masses; rather they chase the power politics and as such they only serve the interests of single families. He said that parties like NC, PDP have exploited the masses on every opportunity and now it’s the turn of people to show their real place. He expressed hope that she will serve the BJP party with dedication.
Ashok Kaul, welcoming the former PDP leader into the party fold said that the pro-people leaders of such parties have shown their interest to join BJP, which proves that the BJP has gained trust from all quarters of society. He further said that party has high hopes that the newly joined leader will serve the Nation and party following all principles of organization.
Priya Sethi, praised the new entrant for her bold decision and said that the BJP’s Mahila wing will be further strengthened by her dedicated work. She said that the women constitute the half of population and as such their active participation in the political field is required today, so that they can watch the interests of the women population.
Adv. Jasmeet Kour, thanked the party leadership for putting faith in her. She said that she will serve the organization with all her might. She said that she will now work with increased energy to serve her people for their welfare with the support of a Nationalist organization like BJP.
