Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, sending his fans, friends and family members in a state of shock. Unable to bear the news of the actor�s sudden death, a 13-year old girl and a 55-year-old man allegedly died by suicide in Odisha�s Cuttack. The 13-year-old girl reportedly committed suicide in the Jobra area of Cuttack on Friday (June 19). She was a student of Saraswati Shishu Mandir, and had recently been promoted to Class IX. According to family sources, the girl was under severe mental stress ever since she got to know about Sushant Singh Rajput�s death from media reports on June 14. She allegedly took the extreme step by hanging herself in the absence of her family members. Cuttack Police DCP Akhileswar Singh said, �A minor girl (13) was found hanging in her room in Malgodown. Preliminary information from family members revealed that she was upset due to death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, and due to depression she killed herself. Further investigation is on into different angles, if some other things come out of investigation, we will take action accordingly.� In a similar incident, a 55-year-old fan of the actor committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan inside a room of his office in Cuttack. The deceased was identified as Niranjan Rout of Jagatsinghpur. He was working in the area.
