An aggressor having a place with The Opposition Front (TRF) was killed in an experience with security powers in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian region on Thursday, police said.

Security powers staff sent off a cordon-and-search activity in Kathohalan region of the south Kashmir locale following contributions about the presence of assailants, a police official said.

As the powers led the activity, the aggressors terminated upon them, he said.

The powers fought back, following an experience in which one assailant had been killed up until this point, the authority said.

In a post on X, the Kashmir Zone Police said the assailant had a place with TRF.

"One fear-based oppressor associated with prohibited dread outfit TRF killed. Implicating materials including arms and ammo recuperated. Search going on. Further subtleties will follow," the police said.
