Book of Urdu Ghazals in Devnagri by Pyaasa Anjum released Anjuman Frogh- E- Urdu, today, organized a literary function at K L Saigal Hall of Cultural Academy, Jammu to release a collection of Urdu Ghazals in Devnagri titled 'Meel Pathar' written by Pyaasa Anjum, a senior Ghazal writer of Jammu. Sh. Kavinder Gupta Former Deputy Minister of erstwhile J&K State was the chief guest of the programme. Jenab Sohail Kazmi, senior journalist was the guest of honour whereasSh.chander Mohan Gupta.

Dr. Nirmal Vinod Eminent port & writer and Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages were the special guests on this occasion. Jb. Amin Banihali, a senior satire poet & President, Anjuman Frogh.

Amin Banihali, President of Anjuman Frogh- E- Urdu welcomed the guests and gave a brief of the activities of the organization.

Senior Ghazal writer of Jammu & Kashmir Sh.Deepak Arsi was writer , Sh. Suraj Ratan Bakshi presented a critical evaluation paper on the released book, content of the poetry and other technical qualities of the poetry of Pyaasa Anjum. it may be mentioned here that three Ghazal collections viz. 'Aagaz- E- Siiukhan' and 'Mere Qalam Se' (Urdu Ghazals in Devnagri) and 'Rae Bijogan Sooli Tangey' (Panjabi Ghazals in Gurmukhi and Devnagri) written by Pyaasa Anjum have already been released.

The fourth of Urdu Ghazals in Devnagri titled `Meel Pathar' has been released in the function. The bea of 120 Ghazals gives information about technical aspects of 'Behars', 'Wazan' and 'Aarooz' used in the Ghazals, which would prove to be a milestone in comprehending the art of Ghazal writhg Fy the readers. Pyaasa Anjum shared his journey and experiences of writing Ghazals lncrako recited some of his choicest poetry.

A programme 'Sham- E- Ghazal' was also organized in the function where well known 'A Grade Approved' Singer Artist Dharmesh Nargotra sang in his melodious voice , the Ghazals of Pyaasa Anjum Speaking on this occasion, Sh. Kavinder Gupta and Sh. Chander me haii Olpta appreciated the dedication and contribution of Pyaasa Anjum in writing Ghazals. He 'mid tFat Pyaasa Anjum has come up with quality Ghazals and also has integrated them in various scrfrAs like Devnagri and Gurmukhi , Jb. Sohail Kazmi, Dr. Nirmal Vinod and Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn .
