Due to the possibility of terrorist infiltration from across the border, security arrangements have been tightened on the new year. Security agencies have kept their intelligence system on alert for the next three days. Police along with paramilitary forces have tightened security from the border to the highway. The highway has been deployed to patrol the security forces. For the next three days, police officers will also be present in their respective areas. They have been asked not to leave the station.
