After the Rajasthan Speaker sent disqualification notices to Sachin Pilot and 18 MLAs of his camp, the rebel leader is now planning to move the Supreme Court. Sachin Pilot has been consulting his lawyers to appeal to the Supreme Court against the disqualification notices. After an appeal by the ruling Congress in Rajasthan, Speaker CP Joshi confirmed that disqualification notices have been sent to ousted Deputy CM Sachin Pilot and MLAs of his camp. Sachin Pilot is planning to move the court saying the notices have no legal basis and were issued on the whims of the Gehlot government. Sachin Pilot is also mulling to seek clarification from the Election Commission (EC) on the notices issued to him and other rebel MLAs. After a complaint by the ruling Congress party, the Rajasthan Speaker sent out notices to Sachin Pilot and other rebel MLAs holed up at the Manesar resort. Congress had raised the complaint after Sachin Pilot and his camp of MLAs refused to attend the second CLP meeting on Tuesday. As he failed to attend the meeting, Congress stripped him off his roles as the Rajasthan Deputy CM and PCC chief. Sachin Pilot is yet to announce his next move following the ouster. However, the Rajasthan strongman has maintained that he will not be joining BJP.

Later, Congress leaders were seen making attempts to reach out to Sachin Pilot, who has said he was hurt by the treatment meted out to him by the party and Ashok Gehlot. From Randeep Singh Surjewala to Kapil Sibal, Congress leaders have made public statements asking Sachin Pilot to "return to the family". "The party's doors have not closed for Pilot. May God give him good sense and he realises his mistake. I pray that he comes out of the BJP's illusory trap," said Avinash Pande, the AICC in-charge of Rajasthan. Senior leader Surjewala said all grievances will be heard and solutions found. "Come back to your family, sit with your family and place your view before the family, he said at Jaipur hotel where MLAs in the Gehlot camp are holed up. He said if Pilot is not joining the BJP, he should not accept the hospitality of BJP-ruled Haryana, referring to reports that the MLAs close to the rebel leader are camping in two Gurgaon hotels. Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who is a senior leader from Rajasthan, said no talks have been held between the BJP and the Congress dissident. The Congress has made clear that it is going for revamp of the organisation in the state.
