Cong spokesperson Rajiv Tyagi dies of heart attack

Congress spokesperson Rajiv Tyagi passed away on Wednesday evening after suffering from a heart attack.
He was rushed to Ghaziabad's Yashoda Hospital after he suddenly felt unwell and fell unconscious at his residence. Doctors declared him brought dead.
Soon after Tyagi's demise, the Congress, in a tweet, said. "We are deeply saddened by the sudden demise of Shri Rajiv Tyagi. A staunch Congressman and a true patriot. Our thoughts and prayers are with his families and friends in this time of grief," the tweet said.
Earlier on Wednesday, Rajiv Tyagi tweeted about his participation in a debate at Aaj Tak at 5 PM. This was his last tweet.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sambit Patra expressed shock over Rajiv Tyagi's death and said his demise was "unbelievable".
On Wednesday, Sambit Patra and Rajiv Tyagi shared a panel during a debate on Aaj Tak and after few hours, it was informed that Tyagi's health condition deteriorated. Later, his death was confirmed by hospital authorities.
Sambit Patra tweeted: "Today, at 5 pm, we were a part of a debate at Aaj Tak. Life is unpredictable."
Congress leader KC Venugopal tweeted: "Saddened and shocked to hear about the sudden demise of our colleague and @INCIndia national spokesperson Shri Rajiv Tyagi. My condolences to his family and friends in this time of grief. May his soul rest in peace."
"The Congress lost its 'Babbar sher' today. Will always remember Rajiv Tyagi's love towards Congress and his struggles," party leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted.
Congress general-secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also extended her condolences and said that Rajiv Tyagi was a "dedicated warrior".
Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala also tweeted: "My most beloved friend; my forever companion; my younger brother; a committed Congressman; Lost, gone, separated."
