18th Dr Surindur Singh Memorial Golf tournament organized at BSF Golf Course Paloura Camp, Jammu on 13 and 14 March 2021 and inaugurated by Sh Rajiv Rai Bhatanagar, Advisor To Hon’ble Lt Governor in presence of Sh N S Jamwal, IG BSF Jammu. Mrs Shashi Singh w/o Late Dr Surindur Singh also graced the occasion as special guest.

A Total of 91 Golfers participated in the tournament. Following Golfers won trophies & prizes. Gross Winner went to Sh R S Jaswal & Runner up to Sh Garib Dass, IGP J&K, Net Winner Sh Rajiv Rai Bhatanagar Advisor to Hon’ble Lt Governor J&K & Net Runner up Sh. Sanjeev Pathania Other winners are as under:-

Senior Citizen category Net Winner Sh Arun Sharma & Net Runner up -Sh S D Singh, Gross winner in Senior Citizen category Sh V K Zadoo & Gross Runner up Dr S S Jamwal, Longest drive Sh V M Singh, Comdt BSF, Nearest to Pin Sh Vinod Sharma. Straight drive Sh Hari Lal, DIG BSF, Maximum Par Dr Anil Slathia and Max Birdie Sh R S Jaswal. Best Lady Putter winner Mrs Sushila Devi Kamal, Runners up Smt Mala Broca, Second Runners up Mrs Arti Batra. Hole in One for year 2020 were also given to Col Ramesh Chander, Sh N S Jamwal, IG BSF Jammu, Sh Rohit Bhalla, Sh Raghav Wahi, Sh V K Zadoo. Sh Neeraj Saxena, AC (works) received the trophy for hitting an eagle.

This tournament is conducted every year in the memory of then IG BSF Jammu Frontier Late Sh Surindur Singh who shaped this Golf Course in present format and made it a prestigious golf course of Jammu city.
