The marquee FIFA World Cup match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan will now be played on October 14, a day before the original game, the ICC confirmed today, announcing a postponement of nine matches.

According to the latest update, three matches in Pakistan and England will be changed (either date or time), while India's two matches have been rescheduled.

Another postponed game for India is their final league game against the Netherlands which was originally scheduled for November 11 but is now on November 12 in Bengaluru.
The India-Pakistan match will go on for a day after security agencies reported failure to provide adequate security on the first day of Navratri on October 15.
