In his opening remarks at the G20 leaders' summit, Modi exuded confidence and said that if the world overcomes Covid, it can also overcome the trust gap caused by war.
"It is time we all march together for the global good," Modi said while addressing the "One Earth" session of the G20 leaders' summit, which was attended by US President Joe Biden, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the British Prime Minister . The Prime Minister told the gathering that it has become the G20 of the Indian people with more than 200 events organized in more than 60 cities.

"For all challenges, from the disruption of the global economy to the North-South divide, from food processing to fuel and fertilizer management, from terrorism to cyber security, from healthcare to energy and water security, we must move together towards concrete solutions. Modi said. He said that India's chairmanship of the G20 has become a symbol of inclusion and cohesion within and outside the country.
"It has become the people's G20 in India. Thousands of Indians have joined it, more than 200 meetings have been held in more than 60 cities of the country," Modi said.
