The Indian Air Force will conduct the first of its kind at Jammu airport on September 21, an official spokesperson said on Tuesday.
The air show is being organized by the IAF in collaboration with the local administration and will feature various aircraft such as fighter jets and helicopters, the spokesperson said.
He said necessary arrangements for the event were discussed in a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Jammu Sachin Kumar Vaishya and attended by senior officers of the IAF and police.
The air show would be a spectacular occasion for local residents, especially children and youth, said the Deputy Commissioner and urged all stakeholders to ensure the success of the event.
