An enormous fire broke out in the traveler center point of Dal Lake here from the get-go Saturday, obliterating property worth crores of rupees, authorities said.

In any case, there was no death toll in the episode, they said.

As indicated by an authority of the Fire and Crisis Administrations Division, the fire broke out close to Ghat 9 of Dal Lake at around 5.15 am.

No less than five houseboats and three cabins were harmed, the authority said.
