Gujarat Titans today designated Shubman Gill as their commander for the 2024 time of the Indian Chief Association (IPL) following Hardik Pandya's choice to move back to Mumbai Indians. Gujarat Titans will get Rs 15 crore from MI for the all-cash bargain separated from a robust undisclosed exchange charge.

When Pandya's exit was certain, 24-year-old opener Gill was the undeniable captaincy decision, having got the 'orange cap' in the last season with 890 runs, second to just Virat Kohli's unequaled record of 973.
