Russia released rocket and robot strikes on Kyiv and other Ukrainian urban communities during Wednesday morning's busy time, killing five individuals, injuring more than 30, and harming private structures and energy foundation, Ukrainian authorities said.

Four individuals were killed when trash from a rocket hit a 18-story private structure in Golosiivskyi locale in the southwest of Kyiv. One individual was killed in Mykolayiv in the south.

Air protections killed 44 rockets and robots out of 64 sent off by Russia in a few waves, said Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, commandant of Ukraine's military.
