Joe Root stayed unbeaten on 122 as India bowled out Britain for 353 in their most memorable innings on the second day of the fourth Test here on Saturday.

Previous Britain captain Root scored 10 limits during his unconquered 274-ball innings.

Continuing at the short-term score of 302 for seven, Root and Ollie Robinson finished their century represent the eighth wicket to take Britain forward.

Simultaneously, Robinson (58 off 96) hit his lady Test 50 years.

Ravindra Jadeja (4/67) got every one of the three excess wickets in the first part of the day meeting of the subsequent day.

Debutant Akash Profound (3/83) intrigued right off the bat, while Mohammed Siraj (2/78) got two wickets.

India are driving the five-Test series 2-1.
