The BJP will want to keep its hold on the majority of Hindu seats in Jammu by winning at least 30 seats on Tuesday. The saffron party will look to minor parties and independents in the Valley to create a BJP-led administration in the UT if it were to secure more than 30 seats. The saffron party has an advantage in the Jammu region according to exit polls, which predict it will win 25–30 seats.
