The most devastating terrorist attack in Kashmir in almost a year occurred Tuesday, April 22, 2025, when suspected terrorists opened fire on tourists, leaving at least five persons thought dead and eight injured. Regarding the Pahalgam terror assault, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the phone and requested that he take all necessary action. HM was also invited to see the location by PM. Due to the terrible incident, Mr. Shah has convened an emergency meeting.
