India today reported the first case of novel coronavirus with the government confirming one patient in Kerala as positive. The female, a student from Wuhan University of China, is currently isolated at a Thrissur facility.

The Health Ministry confirmed the positive CoV case, saying: “One positive case of novel coronavirus patient has been reported in Kerala. The patient is in isolation in the hospital. She is stable and is being closely monitored.”
