36 Union ministers to visit Jammu and Kashmir this week

36 ministers of Modi Government will visit Jammu and Kashmir this week. Between January 18 and 24, five months after the removal of Article 370 and the formation of the Union Territory, these ministers of the Central Government will explain the policies of the government to the local public. The positive aspects of removing Article 370 will be clarified by visiting sensitive areas of the valley. The Ministry of Home Affairs will maintain coordination between all other Ministries.

Sources said that these three dozen Union ministers will go to all the districts of both the divisions of Jammu and Kashmir. In this regard, Minister of State for Home G. Kishan Reddy has written a letter to BVR Subrahmanyam, Chief Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir. In the letter, Reddy said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah wishes that all Union Ministers visit Jammu and Kashmir. Also, explain the importance of the policies of the Center for the overall development of the Union Territory and the meetings will be held at every parliamentary constituency to the block level.

It is said that Jammu will have 51 visits and Srinagar will have 8 visits. Union Minister Smriti Irani will visit Pantihal areas of Katra and Reasi districts on 19 January. On the same day, Piyush Goyal, Minister of Railways and Commerce and Industry will visit Srinagar. While Reddy himself will be in Ganderbal on 22 January. He will visit Manigam on 23 January. Union Minister of Law and Justice Ravi Shankar Prasad will visit Sopore in Baramulla district on 24 January. VK Singh will visit Tikri in Udhampur on 20 January.

Kiran Rijiju will visit Suchetgarh in Jammu on 21 January. Similarly, Union Minister RK Singh will visit Khelani in the Doda district. Shripad Nayak will hold a meeting at SKICC in Srinagar. Apart from this, Union Ministers Anurag Thakur, Giriraj Singh, Prahlad Joshi, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Jitendra Singh will visit different districts of Jammu and Kashmir in the same week. At the same time, state BJP organization General Secretary Ashok Kaul said that instructions have been given to all the district presidents in view of the visit of Union Ministers.
