Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was admitted to a hospital in Delhi recently due to deteriorating health. Then there were reports that Rishi was admitted to the hospital due to cancer relapses. But now, Rishi has reached Mumbai after being discharged. He has revealed the reason why he was hospitalized.

Rishi cleared the situation by tweeting. He wrote- Dear family, friends, enemies and followers. Taking care of my health, I am passionate about you all. thank you. I was shooting in Delhi for the last 18 days and due to reduced pollution and neutrophils, I had an infection, due to which I had to be hospitalized.

I also had fever. Doctors found a patch in the investigation that could have caused pneumonia. It was treated as soon as it was found. It seems that people had thought of something else. Pause all those stories and hope to entertain you. Love to all of you. Now I am in Mumbai.

Rishi was diagnosed with cancer in 2018, after which he lived in New York for almost a year, where he was treated. Rishi returned to India last year. Talking about Rishi's film career, he appeared in The Body in December last year, in which Emraan Hashmi played the lead role.

Rishi Kapoor will now be seen in Deepika Padukone's second home production film, an Indian adaptation of the Hollywood film The Intern. In this film, Rishi will play the role of Hollywood veteran Robert Dinero, while Deepika will be seen in the role of Ann Hathaway. Deepika has recently announced this film. Rishi and Deepika have previously worked in Love Nowadays.
