An SSP jawan was seriously injured in an explosion under mysterious circumstances at Lal Bazar in Srinagar. However, soon after the blast, security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.

While confirming the incident of the police blast, he denied that there was a grenade attack here. He said that litter was set on fire near the block of security forces and there was an explosion in a closed bottle lying in it. The SSP jawan has also been injured due to his broken vials flying in the air after the bottle burst.

Nevertheless, the security forces have cordoned off the area and conducted a search operation. Not only this, but the police have also started an investigation to find out the reasons for the explosion. The injured SSB jawan has been admitted to the nearest hospital. Other details are awaited.
