Cyclone Nisarga is expected to make a landfall near Mumbai and its adjacent areas on June 3. According to the IMD, a deep, low pressure depression that was formed in the Arabian sea intensified into a severe cyclonic storm that hit the coastal areas of northern Maharashtra and southern Gujarat between Harihareshwar in Raigad and Daman. The BMC officials are on high alert as Mumbai braces for a severe cyclonic storm.
