Indian Railways reschedules several trains to Maharashtra due to Cyclone Nisarga

Indian Railways has rescheduled several trains to and from Maharashtra due to Cyclone Nisarga. According to the Central Railways, eight trains have been rescheduled in the wake of the first ever tropical cyclone that is going to make landfall in Maharashtra on June 3 at noon.

Several trains that were supposed to reach during morning or noon have been rescheduled and pushed to evening slots. Here is the list of the reschedule trains according to the Central Railways:

For the trains that were supposed to leave from Mumbai in the morning:

02542 LTT (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus) - Gorakhpur special will leave at 8 PM on June 3 instead of 11:10 AM.
06345 LTT-Thiruvananthapuram special will now depart at 6 PM on June 3 instead of 11:40 AM.
01061 LTT-Darbhanga special will leave at 8:30 PM on June 3 instead of 12:15 PM.
01071 LTT-Varanasi special will leave at 9 PM on June 3 instead of 12:40 PM
01019 CSMT-Bhubaneshwar special will now leave at 8 PM on June 3 instead of 15:05 PM

Similarly, UP special trains have been scheduled to arrive Mumbai on June 3 will be regulated/diverted

03201 Patna-LTT special which was scheduled to reach Mumbai at 11:30 AM on June 3 will be regulated en route and arrive behind schedule

01094 Varanasi-CSMT special schedule to arrive at 14:15 PM on June 3 to be regulated en route and arrive behind schedule

06436 Thiruvananthapuram-LTT special scheduled to arrive 16:40 PM on June 3 will be diverted via Pune to arrive LTT behind schedule. As of now, more than 10 NDRF teams have been deployed in Maharashtra at several risk prone regions in wake of the cyclone.

The Chief Minister's Office (CMO) through Twitter informed that “10 teams have been deployed for rescue operations while six SDRF units are in reserve".
