Holding government responsible for the Killing of Sarpanch in Antantnag Kashmir, Shafiq Mir chairman All J and K Panchayat Conference said that the deceased Sarpanch Ajay Pandita had many times demanded security but govt did not give him.
In a press statement, Mir said he has visited the family of deceased and demanded investigation that why he was not given security. Mir appealed the prime minister that he should personally intervene and see why govt has failed to protect panchayat leaders.
