ABVP hails modifications in education system

ABVP Jammu Kashmir has welcomed the National Education Policy unveiled by the Ministry of Education.Akhil Bharatiya VidYarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu Kashmir State Secretary Mukesh Manhas in a Press Conference today held at Vidyarthi Bhawan Amphalla asserted that ABVP Jammu Kashmir welcomes the decision of Union cabinet to implement the much awaited National Education Policy which is important in building a modern India in accordance with the aspiration of youth of the country. National Education Policy will play a vital role in building a new and Aatmanirbhar Bharat. He further said the esteemed citizens of India have been waiting for this National Education Policy for a long time and expecting the much-required changes in education sector, from primary to the higher level. Mukesh Manhas said that it is a matter of joy for the entire nation that after 34 years the New National Education Policy approved by the Cabinet which is Nation Centric. He further said that this policy will prove to be extremely shaping the aspirations of the new India and will develop immense possibilities for the youth and will generates lots of employment opportunities. Moreover, Muskaan Anand National Executive Member said that the nation has been waiting for reforms from many decades to make education knowledge-based, employment oriented, technology-oriented and focused on holistic development and bring about a positive change in the Indian Education System. She further said the New National Education Policy shall be in accordance with the foregoing aspirations of the common Indian.
Whereas, Nandita Sharma State Joint Secretary emphasized that the New National Education Policy and the reform will help the Indian student fraternity comprising of crores of students, release their dreams . She said the New National Education Policy strongly emphasized that the medium of instruction upto grade 5th preferably till grade 8th will be the home language / mother tongue. Moreover, Shubam Amar Jammu University President emphasized that National Education Policy focuses on Curtailing Dropout Rates in school and Ensuring Universal access to education at all level. He further said the policy focuses on Learning outcomes and Holistic development of student. He emphasized this New National Education Policy is Bharat centric, hence it should be implemented as soon as possible.
ABVP Jammu Kashmir believes that the National Education Policy is Bharat Centric Education Policy that will contributes directly to transforming Bharat as well Jammu Kashmir into an equitable and vibrant yet sustainable knowledgeable society by providing high quality education to all.
