2 September, 2020
COVID-19 negative certificates will no longer be required to visit Goa. Goa Chief minister Pramod Sawant recently stated that the state has relaxed all kinds of restrictions on entry, and those travelling to the state would no longer be tested for COVID-19. He mentioned that the said decision is in the wake of the new Unlock 4.0 guidelines issued by the centre
The Chief Minister also added that all instructions issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs will be followed. He also reiterated that acting in line with the said guidelines, there will no longer be COVID tests, restrictions on inter-state movement, COVID-negative certificate, or home isolation for those travelling to Goa.
Referring to this, the Goa Airport also tweeted on the similar lines and stated that no more COVID negative report will be required for domestic travelers. Also, the Director of Goa Airport assured that the airport has enough staff to handle the influx of tourists after Unlock 4.0.
